Rotary Kilns

Massive single-drive kilns requiring 50–150 kW at kiln speed (0.5–3 RPM). Bevel gearbox (15:1–30:1) + friction drive or chain reducer. Extreme thermal environment (1450°C inside, 80–120°C external). Oil coolers and thermostatic systems critical.

Ball Mills

Grinding mill drives (11–110 kW) at 15–30 RPM. Helical gearboxes (10:1–25:1) from 1500 RPM motors. Grinding media and raw materials create constant high-torque shock loads. Durable gears and thermal management essential.

Vertical Roller Mills (VRM)
